Who We Are
The Human Rights Council of India (HRCI) is a Central Government registered NGO dedicated to protecting human rights, promoting justice, and serving all sections of society without discrimination of caste, religion, region, language, or political ideology.
Founded by Hon. Shri Haji S. Shaikh, a dynamic and committed human rights activist and social worker, HRCI was established in 2013 with the mission of creating an equal, just, and empowered society.
For more than 12+ years, HRCI has been actively working across India through a strong network of volunteers, members, social workers, advocates, professionals, and supporters.
