Mr. Haji Shaikh
Founder & National President
Human Rights Council of India
I founded the Human Rights Council of India with a firm belief that human dignity, justice, and equality are not privileges, but fundamental rights of every individual. The vision behind establishing this organization was to create a strong, independent, and compassionate platform that stands with the oppressed, the marginalized, and those whose voices often go unheard.
India is a nation built on constitutional values, yet many people continue to face injustice due to poverty, illiteracy, discrimination, and lack of awareness. The Human Rights Council of India was born out of the need to bridge this gap — to educate people about their rights, to guide them legally and socially, and to ensure that justice reaches even the last person in society.
Our organization is non-political, secular, and service-oriented, driven solely by the commitment to protect and promote human rights. Through our dedicated members, volunteers, legal experts, and social workers across the country, we strive to provide free legal aid, awareness programs, and social support to the needy, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, gender, or economic background.
I strongly believe that real change begins with awareness and collective responsibility. Therefore, our focus is not only on addressing grievances but also on building a culture of human values, peace, harmony, and mutual respect. By collaborating with NGOs, government institutions, intellectuals, and international organizations, we aim to strengthen the human rights ecosystem at both national and global levels.
The journey of the Human Rights Council of India is one of perseverance, courage, and service. With the continued support of our members and well-wishers, we remain committed to creating a society where justice is accessible, rights are protected, and humanity prevails above all.
Together, let us stand for truth, justice, and human dignity.
