Social Research and Report Writing

The Social Research and Report Writing Course offered by the Human Rights Council of India (HRCI) aims to help students, interns, volunteers, and aspiring social workers understand social issues and develop basic research skills. Participants will learn how to identify community problems, prepare questionnaires, conduct surveys and interviews, collect relevant information, and understand the importance of ethical research practices, privacy, and informed consent. This course also focuses on developing professional report-writing and documentation skills. Participants will learn how to organize information, summarize findings, prepare research reports, and present conclusions in a clear and structured manner. These skills can support community surveys, social awareness programs, field visits, NGO projects, and other social development activities.
